What You'll Do:
Operational Support: Provide day-to-day operational support for our cloud-based systems and services, ensuring high availability and performance for our connected tools and outdoor products.
Monitoring and Incident Management: Implement and manage monitoring tools, including Datadog/Mixpanel, to proactively identify and address system issues. Participate in incident response activities, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to services.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, security, and product management, to ensure the reliability and security of our systems. Contribute to the implementation of best practices for system operations and security.
Cloud Management: Utilize your AWS knowledge to assist in the deployment, management, and optimization of cloud resources, including API Gateway with Lambda functions, DynamoDB, RDS, and frontend hosting on S3 with CloudFront.CI/CD Practices: Drive the implementation and management of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for mobile and web applications using Bitbucket-CI and Jenkins, ensuring smooth and efficient software delivery processes.
DevSecOps Implementation: Support the integration of security practices into the DevOps process, transitioning to a DevSecOps model that emphasizes security at every stage of the development lifecycle.Infrastructure as Code: Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform) to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources, enhancing operational efficiency and consistency.
Continuous Improvement: Analyze system performance metrics and identify areas for optimization. Collaborate with the team to implement improvements and document processes for knowledge sharing.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and incident reports. Assist in delivering regular performance reports and KPIs to stakeholders.
AWS certified Cloud Practitioner is desirable
