Job Description- Oversee and manage the internal auditing process
- Conduct periodic reviews of processes, systems, and internal controls to ensure adherence to company policies and standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and report potential issues
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks, ensuring timely mitigation strategies are in place.
- Develop new audit programmes to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Manage and oversee the implementation of anti-fraud, anti-bribery, and anti-corruption policies.
- Monitor and ensure the implementation of recommendations
- Evaluate financial operations and controls for efficiency and effectiveness
- Leverage data analytics tools to identify risk trends, monitor anomalies, and generate actionable insights
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline auditing processes
- Lead and manage a team of auditors and risk specialists, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare reports and present findings to management
- Stay updated with industry and regulatory changes and advancements in the field of auditing
The Successful Applicant
A successful VP - Internal Audit should have:
Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or equivalent qualification. MBA in Finance or Risk Management (preferred).Experience: 12+ years of experience in audit, risk, and compliance, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Proven track record of implementing enterprise risk management frameworks and conducting audits across multiple locations.
Strong knowledge of internal controls, compliance regulations, and financial risk management practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholder and Board-level reporting.
Proficiency in audit and risk management software tools.
Leadership skills to manage teams and drive cultural alignment with compliance and risk priorities.
