Application security Analyst/Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled HP Fortify/SYNK Engineer to manage and enhance our application security using HP Fortify tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application security, vulnerability assessment, and secure coding practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain application security policies and procedures using HP Fortify.

Conduct regular security assessments and code reviews using HP Fortify tools.

Analyze and respond to security vulnerabilities and incidents.

Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure secure coding practices.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Provide training and support to staff on application security best practices.

Prepare reports and documentation on current security strategies and risks for upper management.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as an HP Fortify Engineer or similar role OR SYNK, HP Fortify

Proficiency in HP Fortify tools and application security practices.

Strong understanding of secure coding principles and vulnerability assessment techniques.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree in Cybersecurity or a related field.

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.

Experience with cloud security and DevOps practices.

Knowledge of ethical hacking and penetration testing.
