About Client -

Our client is a Silicon Valley based startup focusing on farm automation. They are working on solving farming/agricultural automation challenges with our electric vehicles and computer vision. We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to streamline our facility operations.

Requirements and Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (embedded system design)
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or the equivalent in experience with evidence of exceptional ability
• Strong experience with circuit analysis, schematic design, PCB layout and manufacturing.
• Working experience with MCU circuit design is required.
• Working experience with EV components such as BMS, Charger, DCDC converters etc is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of design guidelines for EMC/EMI standards, thermal analysis and design.
• Solid background in EE fundamentals - circuit analysis and design
• Ability to collaborate and communicate complex technical concepts

Responsibility:

• Embedded system hardware design, development, testing, debugging and optimization
• Create hardware designs that include specification, architecture, component selection & sizing
• Conduct and document tolerance analysis, part stress analysis, circuit analysis, functional safety analysis, safety hazard analysis, hardware to software interface and design FEMAs
• Design HW to meet Environmental, EMI/EMC, thermal, shock & vibration
• Proactively collaborate with cross functional engineering groups, manufacturing, quality, product support and suppliers.
• Perform value analysis / value engineering to provide cost-effective electronic hardware solutions of highest quality standards for various electrification products.
• Prepare technical reports and conduct design reviews with the stakeholders
• Hands-on hardware bring-up, system debugging.
• Writing unit and component level tests to ensure proper functionality
• Make performance and optimization trade-offs to meet product requirements.
