Your Role
Job Description / Mission For Design Engineer Are
To prepare Instrumentation, Electrical Detail Engineering documents for Compressor & other accessories which caters to the specifications of the clients / consultants and our process requirements.
Role & Responsibilities:-- Designing and estimation of power, control and instrumentation systems for Engine/ Motor driven compressors in safe & hazardous areas for various gases applications like LNG, CNG gas, Biogas application packages, Nitrogen etc
- Preparation of P & ID using Autocad Electrical / Medusa software
- Preparation of Instrument Specifications for all field instruments as per P & ID, Contract & Process requirements.
- Preparation of Instrument hook up diagrams along with BOMs.
- Preparation of JB & Cable Schedule, E & I Cable tray layouts, Earthing layouts, Panel, JB, Instrument location layouts
- Preparation of IO List, Alarm / Trip List, Control Narrative, Logic Diagrams, C & E, Loop diagrams
- Preparation of BOM for E & I Cable, Cable trays, glands etc
- Hands on experience for design of BN3500 System including selection of various vibration sensor probes, cards etc
- Hands on experience on PLCs like Allen Bradely / Siemens
- Hands on experience on SPI Intools
- Hands on experience on various communication protocols like Modbus / Profibus / Foundation Fieldbus
- Knowledge of IOT based instruments
- Participation in HAZOP / SIL Studies / review meetings with clients
- Control Panel design as per various standards
- MCC / PDB Design including component selection
- Preparation of Single Line diagram, Power & control wiring for MCC / PDB
- Prepartion of Motor datasheet, VFD Specifications
- Knowledge of LT & HT Motors
- Review of Motor vendor documents
- Preparation of Service Diagrams
- Hands on experience on VFD selection, VFD Programming,
- Preparation of Earthing Layout
- Hands on experience for various starters like DOL, Star Delta, Soft Starter design
- Hands on experience of wire harness
- Knowledge of selection of equipments in Hazardous area is must
- Preparation of project activity schedules for E & I, maintain hourly logging of engineering hours.
- Co-ordination with client / consultants and suppliers for technical discussions, document approval process.
- Commissioning / trouble shooting assistance for relay/ PLC based control panels, instruments and HT/ LT motors driven as well as engine driven compressors.
- Knowledge of International standards like IEC, ISA, UL, API, NFPA, ISO etc
Software Skill Requirement
Must be proficient in - AutoCAD Electrical,- AutoCAD Mechanical,
- MS Excel
Advantage having proficiency in Eplan Software (P8 Prof & Panel Pro)
Must be having good knowledge of- Inventor, - MS office suite,
- SAP Software's,
- PLC's for Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC's
- Must be confident enough to take on challenges, ready to travel (within India as well as outside India as per project requirement) and ability to develop team
To succeed, you will need
At least BE / B Tech / M Tech in electrical / Instrumentation / E & T C and shall be having the
Experience Minimum 3 - 4 years of experience in engineering/application support,EPC or manufacturing organization Software SPI, external editor, Auto cad-electrical, Inventor, Ms office (Excel/word etc.),PDF editor
