Job Description
Reinsurance Finance function in India primarily supports the quarterly closing and reporting process of Reinsurance Business. There are different sub-processes performed by Reinsurance Financial Reporting team in India which includes but is not limited to: Quarter end Close Process, Reporting Process, Reconciliation Process, Planning Process, Business Analysis Process, etc.This position will be supporting the Regulatory Reporting, Statutory Reporting and Management Reporting activities for XL Re Europe business.

What will your essential responsibilities include
.Responsible for Reinsurance Financial Accounting and Reporting activities.
.Work on IS & BS Reconciliations and research variances.
.Preparing Bank Reconciliation and Source to post GL reconciliations.
.Analysis of Premiums and reporting the same to management.
.Responsible for expense analysis and presenting the same to management.
.Posting Journal entries.
.Support management team on regular basis and help them to report numbers to Management accurately.
.Maintain strong communication with onshore (both written and verbal) and manage expectations.
.Keeping the flexibility in reports to incorporate any adjustments or structural changes.
.Develops and maintains process documentation.
You will report to the Senior Manager.

Required Skills and Abilities:
.Accounting and Analytical skills: CA with relevant years of experience or MBA finance with relevant years of experience in Finance & Accounting and/or Internal Reporting.
.Good Accounting knowledge.
.Good exposure of working on Excel and Presentations. Knowledge of VBA is an added advantage.
.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills and Abilities:
.Should have excellent MS Excel skills.
.Able to work and communicate effectively as part of a cross-geographic and cross-cultural team.
.Good team player and ability to work self-directedly.
.Excellent customer-focus and results oriented.
