A Brief Overview

The Senior Payroll Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and processing US and India payroll functions. The Senior Payroll Specialist will ensure pay is processed on time and accurately. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for timecard maintenance, payroll processing, maintaining accruals, monitoring tax related forms/report, W2 and W4 processing, job verifications, supporting & responding to colleague inquiries regarding payroll & other related duties assigned.

What You Will Do
  • Maintains efficacy of payroll operations by following policies and procedures.
  • Processes numerous payroll-related transactions daily
  • Review monthly payroll reconciliations
  • Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Processes off-cycles payments for colleagues.
  • Maintain & run payroll reports & assist during audits.
  • Provide mapping of payroll data items to all supported forms
  • Process and respond to garnishments in accordance with federal and state regulations
  • Manage and respond to all payroll related inquiries from colleagues
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards
Education Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent education and experience
Experience Qualifications
  • Typically 4+ years related payroll or HR experience required
Skills And Abilities
  • Strong attention to detail (Intermediate proficiency)
  • Knowledge of multi-state payroll tax laws (Basic proficiency)
  • Time management skills (Intermediate proficiency)
  • Good time management skills along with working well and remaining composed under pressure in a fast-paced dynamic environment (Intermediate proficiency)
  • Proficiency with MS Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook (Basic proficiency)
  • Ability to maintain strong level of confidentiality (Advanced proficiency)
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced, continually changing and deadline-driven business and work environment while managing multiple priorities (Advanced proficiency)
  • Willingness to commit to continuous learning (Basic proficiency)
