Job Summary:

The LCCI (Lilly Capability Center India) Business Insights & Analytics team was started in 2017 with the objective of using innovative data mining and analytics to support business decisions to Marketing functions in the US and ex-US affiliates (focused on in-line and pre-launch brands).
This team has rapidly grown and currently comprises of more than 100 staff members, with varied backgrounds and skills across data management, data sciences, analytical techniques, pharmaceutical commercial operations, and business insights.

The team provides analytics outcomes for driving decision making across Lillyu2019s Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, and a range of other functions.

To support the marketing teams in their decision-making, a data and analytics team has been set up simultaneously in Indianapolis (HQ) and Bengaluru (LCCI). This team is responsible for setting up the data warehouses necessary to handle large volumes of digital streaming data, create meaningful analyses using that data, and deliver recommendations to leadership.

As part of the LCCI BI&A team, we have an exciting opportunity as Risk management Specialist.

The primary responsibility of this role is to establish and maintain a robust data governance framework that ensures the quality, integrity, and security of our data assets. The ideal candidate will have a background in data governance, and compliance, cyber security with a keen understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices.u00A0u00A0

Key Responsibilities:u00A0
  • Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and securityu00A0
  • Establish and maintain a data governance framework that includes data classification, data lineage, and data lifecycle managementu00A0
  • Work with leadership to define integrated risk control framework to streamline processes and effectively manage risks.Ensure the extension and implementation of this framework on a global scaleu00A0
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of identified risks. Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure effective risk management practices are in place.u00A0
  • Prepare detailed risk assessment reports and documentation. Communicate risk findings and recommendations to senior management and relevant stakeholdersu00A0
  • Coordinate with Legal and Privacy on appropriate use of data.u00A0
  • Establish an advanced control framework to manage Personally Identifiable Information (PI) and Sensitive Personal Information (SPI) in compliance with both local and global regulationsu00A0
  • Ensure privacy compliance (DSAR, CCPA) and record retention compliance by coordinating with Data Engineering and Tech@Lilly.u00A0
  • Build enterprise capability to manage universal HIPAA authorizations, modernize US consent and permissions (Cookie preference center),u202Fand enhance Customer API and integration to enable cacheu00A0
  • Provide training and support to employees on data governance best practices and policies.u00A0
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements related to data governance and privacy.u00A0
Qualifications:u00A0
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.u00A0
  • Proven experience in data governance, data management, or a related role.u00A0
  • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA.u00A0
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.u00A0
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.u00A0
  • Experience with data governance tools and technologies is a plus.u00A0
Preferred Skills:u00A0
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and methodologies.u00A0
  • Experience with data quality management and data auditing.u00A0
  • Familiarity with data privacy and security best practices.u00A0
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.u00A0
