We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
In this role, you will:
- This role being individual contributor, candidate will be working actual automation and accountable for implementing and maintaining automation across regions
- Responsible for adherence to relevant organizational processes
- Deliver onetime with expected quality standards
- Co-ordinate with other test leads and test managers to understand the automation testing targets and achieve 100%.
- Identify potential risks and suggest mitigation plan
- Responsible for monitoring and guiding junior test engineers for automation related activities.
- Responsible for status reporting and test metrics reporting
- Responsible for defect management with respect to the automation testing.
- Should be able to explore more ways automation to achieve 100% automation target.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- More than 6 years of IT experience of which at least 1 year as a team leader and managing automation testing team.
- Sound understanding of software development and software testing lifecycles
- Ability to plan tasks
- Ability to guide and manage teams effectively
- Familiar with test program concerns including test data management, trouble reporting and resolution, test design and test development
- Understands application business area and application requirements
- Functional expertise in the Banking area
- Expert in either Payment domain or non-Payment domain
- Understanding of the relevant technology domains
- Expertise in software testing tools including test management tools and defect tracking tools like QC and JIRA
- Knowledge of automation tools is desirable especially on xFramework, Selenium, TOSCA and any other industry proven testing tools for AS400.
- Experienced in AS400, HUB Screens
- Flexible approach in dealing with people and situations
- High degree of interpersonal and communication skills
