RxDx Healthcare is hiring Medical Officers (MBBS, with AFIH) for its three Occupational Health Centres (Medical Centres in Corporates/Manufacturing Units) in Whitefield, Bengaluru, operated on behalf of its corporate clients.

Occupational Health Centres (Medical Centres in Corporates/Manufacturing Units)

RxDx Occupational Health Centres are operated at workplaces such as manufacturing units, corporate offices, and R&D centres, with health services tailored to meet industrial requirements. These centres operate 24x7, Monday to Saturday, and provide on-site ambulance support with drivers available 365 days a year, round the clock.

Each centre is staffed with one Medical Officer and three nurses, supported by ambulances with three drivers working in shifts.

Key services include on-site healthcare, first aid, preventive health programs, and emergency medical care, ensuring employee well-being while supporting organizational productivity and compliance with statutory regulations.

Job Overview

As a Medical Officer with AFIH at RxDx Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare services at our Occupational Health Centres located in corporate workplaces, manufacturing units, and R&D centres in Whitefield, Bengaluru.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the health and safety of employees by providing comprehensive on-site medical care, including first aid, emergency medical support, preventive health programs, and managing workplace health concerns.

You will work as part of a dedicated healthcare team, collaborating with nurses, ambulance drivers, and the corporate management team to deliver effective healthcare services that promote employee well-being and support organisational productivity.

As a Factory Medical Officer, you will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with statutory health regulations and overseeing health audits and inspections.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: MBBS with AFIH (Associate Fellow of Industrial Health).
Registration: Valid registration with any State or Indian National Medical Council.

Experience: 13 years in industrial/occupational health or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

Provide healthcare services, including first aid, to employees.

Prescribe treatments and conduct health examinations.

Analyse employee health data and test reports, emphasizing workplace health.

Manage occupational health centre operations and maintain medical equipment.

Ensure availability of medical stocks and inspect ambulance.

Maintain patient records, provide treatments, and handle OPD and emergencies.

Oversee employee health-related issues and industrial health compliance.

Certify fitness and offer expert opinions on employee health matters.

Participate in audits/inspections by internal and external agencies.

Visit hospitals in case of workplace injuries to monitor patient care.

Key Competencies & Skills

Strong knowledge of occupational health principles, industrial health regulations, and emergency care practices.

Excellent verbal and written communication in English; proficiency in additional Indian languages is advantageous.

Effective decision-making and critical thinking skills to manage workplace health challenges and emergencies.

Familiarity with EMR systems, medical documentation, MS Office, and telehealth platforms.

Ability to lead the health centre team comprising nurses and ambulance drivers

Capable of managing multiple responsibilities, maintaining accurate health records, and ensuring compliance with health standards.

Empathetic, approachable, and able to build trust with employees and stakeholders.

Knowledge of industrial health statutes and ability to handle inspections/audits effectively.
