About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative content writer to join our growing marketing team. This role is crucial in developing engaging and informative content that drives brand awareness, generates leads, and supports our overall marketing objectives.The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller with a strong understanding of B2B SaaS marketing, SEO principles, and various content formats. You are a self-starter with a passion for viral ad campaigns, technological innovations, and everything else in between.
Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop high-quality, engaging, and SEO-friendly content across various formats, including, but not limited to, blogs, website copy, case studies, and video content.
- SEO Optimization: Conduct keyword research, optimize content for search engines, and track content performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
- Social Media Marketing: Create compelling social media content that drives engagement and brand awareness. Understand social media best practices and platform-specific nuances.
- Email Marketing: Develop engaging email campaigns that nurture leads and drive conversions. Understand email marketing best practices, segmentation, and automation.
- PR Awareness: Understand the basics of PR writing and be able to craft compelling press releases and media pitches. Collaborate with the PR team (if applicable) on content initiatives.
- Content Strategy: Contribute to the development of content strategies and editorial calendars that align with overall marketing goals.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other marketing team members (e.g., designers, and demand generation specialists) to ensure consistent brand messaging and effective content promotion.
- Content Editing and Proofreading: Ensure all content is error-free, grammatically correct, and adheres to brand guidelines.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Humanities, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in content writing, preferably in the B2B SaaS industry.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to track content performance using analytics tools.
- Self-driven and highly motivated with a strong eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and trends.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Portfolio of writing samples demonstrating relevant experience.
