What You'll Do:

Join Avalara as a Technical Program Manager, a member of the Partner Management, Global Partner Services team.

What Your Responsibilities Will Be:

You will play a pivotal role in assisting technology partners through the technical and functional aspects of their integration builds with various Avalara products and services. Your expertise in Avalara APIs, system integrations, business applications (ERP, eCommerce, CRM, OMS, etc.), and process guidance will be key in the certification and recertification of technology partner integrations, ensuring they meet Avalara's evolving standards and requirements.

This role requires a background in technology, partner management, partner communication, and is partner-facing.

What You'll Need to be Successful:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business, Technology, etc.).
  • Experience in technical project management or partner-facing roles, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment.
  • Strong understanding of APIs and technical integration processes, particularly in relation to Avalara's products and services.
  • Experience with business applications (ERP, eCommerce, OMS, CRM, etc.) including functional and technical skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience with software certification processes, especially in relation to Avalara's products.
  • Knowledge of project management tools like Jira and documentation platforms like Confluence.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

Working Hours:

  • Flexible to accommodate collaboration with global teams across multiple time zones.
