Urban Company started out as UrbanClap in Nov 2014, when its founders, Abhiraj, Raghav and Varun realized that the home services industry was predominantly unorganized, fragmented and offline. Customers found it difficult to avail quality services in a convenient manner, and service professionals were struggling to make ends meet, having to rely upon several middlemen, contractors, and local aggregators.The founders felt that the industry was ripe for disruption, and launched Urban Company, with three key principles in mind -

About the Team
The Brand & Content function is responsible for identifying and deploying brand propositions, translating it into content & communications for key categories in the Urban Company portfolio. The key areas of ownership are:
- Brand Communications
- Content Strategy
- Creative Development
About the Role:
This role is seeking a creative marketing professional to join our Brand & Creative Team. In this role, you will build & deploy content & creative campaigns for Urban Companys key categories, across channels. The ideal candidate must have a natural eye for great creative, and be an insightful creator themselves.Experience working cross-functionally in a data-driven, fast-paced, and high-growth company is ideal.
What Youll Do:
- Creative Strategy: Develop creative strategy for Urban Company and its key categories, with an execution plan, keeping business metrics in mind.
- Build, manage and execute a master content calendar, maintaining brand messaging & voice across channels.
- Bring creative thinking, strategic support, and marketing know-how to build a pipeline of content and influencer that drives consideration and revenue.
- Liaise with brand, growth and GTM teams to create and coordinate big picture marketing strategies that work across different channels including influencer collaborations, SEO and organic social media marketing.
- Develop concepts and content ideas for social media & influencer collaborations, and work to execute with agency partners and creators.
- Utilize business & marketing insights to craft and optimize social media plans, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Brand Campaigns: Plan, execute, and manage digital branded content campaigns, collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to create compelling and cohesive brand messages.
- Go-to-Market: Work with Media, Growth and Business teams to build distribution for outperforming content, that can directly drive revenue and business results.
This role is right for you, if:
- You have 2-5 years of relevant experience at a brand(s) or agency, building beloved consumer brands
- Bonus if you have experience growing brands & business using content
- You are passionate about current events and pop culture, and have harnessed them for brands.
- You have a good balance of strong strategic, creative vision and analytical business acumen
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful social media strategies from the ground up (0-1 problem solver).
- Experience in influencer marketing and the ability to build and maintain relationships with influencers
- A self-starter, wholl take ideas from concept to execution, navigating feedback like a pro
- Passionate about brands, you have a strategic understanding of content and its role across multiple consumer touch points
- Comfortable in managing and navigating through ambiguities in a highly dynamic start-up like environment, you can manage multiple projects with often competing priorities
