Key Responsibilities

Keyword Research and Analysis
  • Identify target keywords to drive the most valuable traffic.
  • Utilize tools such as Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, or Ahrefs to track keyword performance and discover new opportunities.
On-Page Optimization
  • Optimize website content, meta tags, titles, and URLs to improve search rankings.
  • Ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
  • Perform technical site audits to identify and fix issues affecting organic visibility (e.g., broken links, page load speed, mobile responsiveness).
Content Strategy
  • Collaborate with content creators to develop high-quality content that aligns with SEO objectives.
  • Provide recommendations for content improvements based on keyword research and performance data.
Link Building
  • Develop and execute effective link-building strategies to increase domain authority.
  • Build relationships with relevant sites and influencers to earn quality backlinks.
  • Monitor and maintain a healthy link profile, identifying and disavowing harmful links.
Analytics and Reporting
  • Track, report, and analyze website performance and SEO campaigns using platforms like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other industry tools.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on data and metrics.
  • Monitor algorithm updates and adjust strategies accordingly.
Competitive Analysis
  • Conduct regular competitor research to stay informed of industry trends and shifts.
  • Benchmark site performance and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge in search results.
Collaboration and Strategy
  • Work closely with developers, designers, content teams, and marketing managers to achieve collective business goals.
  • Participate in cross-functional discussions to align SEO strategies with broader marketing and product initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience, including managing SEO campaigns and using popular SEO tools (e.g., Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts.
  • Experience with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to stay current with evolving SEO best practices and algorithm updates.
