Team Lead - Process Quality (Process Improvement)

Job description: Purpose
This role is responsible for ensuring that all activities within the scope meet the required quality standards, minimize quality costs and maximise customer satisfaction by ensuring that procedures and processes are adhered to.
Key Missions
We are hiring a Team Lead - Process Quality(Process Improvement) based at NSEZ, Noida.
Roles & responsibilities:
- Lead and manage process improvement projects from concept to implementation.
- Analyze current manufacturing processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Implement Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve process flow and quality control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and maintenance to drive process optimization and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead Kaizen events, 5S initiatives, and other continuous improvement programs.
- Use data-driven approaches to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, efficiency, scrap rates, and downtime.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members and operators on process improvement techniques and tools.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, including ISO 9001 or other relevant certifications.
- Work closely with suppliers to optimize material flow and reduce lead times.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process failures or quality issues.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate progress, improvements, and cost savings to senior management.
Profile & Other Information
Education qualification required:Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Industrial or Electronics or Plastic Technology
Industrial Experience (desired or essential):5 to 8 years of experience in related mass production is an advantage.
Personal qualities:
- Problem-solving capabilities to create meaningful strategies to improve support quality.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in process improvement, manufacturing, or operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven track record of leading successful process improvement projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication, leadership, and team management abilities.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the manufacturing industry
