Lead, develop, and motivate engineering teams responsible for the design and development of Displays functions for Gulfstream programs. Collaborate across Honeywell Aero engineering teams and create solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers.You will participate in all phases of product development and support high impact growth projects. You will have the ability to influence and impact highly engaged teams.
Mentor and inspire engineers to develop innovative products and technologies. Influence & lead engineers to effectively solve complex engineering problems.Build and guide highly talented engineers to deliver exceptional solutions.
Areas of Responsibilities:
- Technology and Business
oResponsiblefor technical solution development (systems design & interface definition) in collaboration withHoneywell business partners. Capable of thought leadership with focus on EPIC integrated avionics and aircraft systems integration.
oDrives systems development, design effectiveness, first-time right implementation with human factors. Works with LSE, Sys and SW Architects on design and architecture improvements.
oEstablishes strong working relationships with key stakeholders (M&PM, AdvTech, Aircraft Systems Lead, Chiefs, Displays and Program LSE's) to support NPI's and RMU. Supports next-gen product evolution in partnership with these stakeholders.
oDrives systems integration and testing across platforms. Supports systems reviews with customers and auditors to demonstrate compliance to industry standards and adopted processes.- Strategic Impact
oMentors engineers to develop cross-platform skills, supports technology up-skilling, competitive intelligence analysis etc.
oBe self-motivated towards developing and demonstrating new product features to PAC, HTS Growth Council etc to secure funding throughPOC's.
oSupport HGR pursuits, look for opportunities to get industry exposure through customer visits, share knowledge gained through conference participation etc.
oImbibes and role models Honeywell behaviors and values, HTS DNA and participates in HOSinitiatives as change agent.
Skills Requirements:
- B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in Electric/Electronics/Computers/Aerospace Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience working various application areas supporting avionics functions
.Worked at least 2 projects end-end with global teams, preferably on cockpit display and avionics integration on business or transport aircrafts.
.Experience working in systems design, developing systems requirements and tests. Highly skilledin simulating flight scenarios and verifying function behavior. Good experience and Knowledge of Displays Product lines is preferred.
.Proven Systems development expertise demonstrated on programs including high level of expertise in Design Library, Displays Systems Requirements development, leadership of FCI's etc. Good knowledge of 3VSE and other systems engineering methodologies.
.Expertise working with Aerospace standards, Architecture principles, ARP4754A and familiarity with DO178B/C.
.Good awareness of the business and technological opportunities and challenges.
