ROLE
Engineer/Senior Manager Constructionspecializing in Mechanical & HVAC systemswithin the MEP industry. The ideal candidate will lead and oversee construction projects, ensuring timely execution, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to drive excellence in Mechanical & HVAC systems for various projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- - Lead and manage Mechanical & HVAC construction activities for MEP projects.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure on-time and within-cost delivery.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and execution teams for smooth project execution.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of Mechanical & HVAC systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to meet project objectives.
- Conduct site inspections, quality control assessments, and safety audits.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to site teams.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist in preparing reports, documentation, and progress updates for senior management.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of project milestones and challenges.
- Monitor material procurement and inventory to prevent project delays.
- Assist in risk assessment and mitigation strategies for Mechanical & HVAC system failures.
- Coordinate with other MEP disciplines to ensure seamless integration of Mechanical & HVAC systems.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians on project sites.
- Support energy efficiency and sustainability practices in Mechanical & HVAC projects.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes for HVAC system installations.
- Ensure the integration of Mechanical & HVAC systems with automation, control, and monitoring technologies.
- Oversee commissioning and performance testing of HVAC equipment and mechanical systems.
- Ensure compliance with international and local mechanical and HVAC codes and standards.
- Optimize HVAC system performance through testing, balancing, and commissioning strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATION
Education:Bachelor's degree inMechanical Engineeringor a related field.
Experience:5+ years (Engineer level) / 10+ years (Senior Manager level) of experience in MEP construction, with expertise in Mechanical & HVACsystems.
Strong understanding of Mechanical & HVAC system design, installation, and commissioning.
Hands-on experience in executing HVAC systems for commercial and industrial projects.
Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control, and project management methodologies.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
PREFERRED SKILLS- Certification in HVAC design or project management (e.g., PMP, LEED).
- Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainable HVAC solutions.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modelling) and other digital construction technologies.
