About the Role

The Senior accountant is a key position within the Finance Department reporting to the Group financial controller and will play a key role in the management of the finance function

This role involves managing financial records, performing financial analysis, and supporting the organization's financial health and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

Support the preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts.

Preparation of Journals, Balance sheet Reconciliations and the Month End Process.

Preparation and submission of various tax returns.

Assist with the preparation of payroll in all global Entities (Ireland, USA, Singapore, India, Switzerland).

Assist with the company's credit control activities across all entities.

Assist with time and material's timesheet tracking and Invoicing.

Support the finance team with audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Support Group Financial controller and CFO.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.

Participation in various projects on an ad hoc basis.

Experiences and Skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred, but not essential.

Accountancy Qualification or studying for exams desirable but not essential.

Desired Experience:

5+ years of experience in an accounting role.

Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Experience of working with entities in other jurisdictions.

Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating with colleagues based internationally.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational and time management skills.
