QA Lead
Job Description
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management:
no Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and performance.
no Coordinate and manage daily QA activities, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
no Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.- Test Strategy and Planning:
no Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for functional, regression, integration, performance, and automation testing.
no Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.- Automation Development and Maintenance:
no Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and test scripts for web, mobile, and backend applications.
no Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing and fast feedback loops.
no Identify opportunities for automation in testing processes and implement solutions to increase test efficiency and effectiveness.- Quality Assurance Processes:
no Establish and enforce QA best practices, standards, and processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
no Conduct regular reviews of test cases, test scripts, and defects to ensure adherence to quality standards.
no Lead defect triage meetings and work closely with the development team to resolve issues promptly.- Performance and Load Testing:
no Plan, design, and execute performance and load tests to evaluate system scalability and reliability under various conditions.
no Analyse performance test results and provide recommendations for performance optimization.- Reporting and Metrics:
no Develop and maintain test metrics and reports to track the quality and progress of testing activities.
no Present test results and quality status to stakeholders, highlighting risks and recommending mitigation strategies.

nB.E or Equivalent
nSkills
no Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).no Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
no Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
no Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
no Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar is preferred.
no Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
