About the Role :

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with a strong focus on data, digital, events, and services in our industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of market trends, technology solutions, and an ability to identify and drive growth opportunities.

You will be responsible for developing and executing business development strategies that leverage data insights, digital initiatives, and event-based engagement to expand our market presence and achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the data, digital, events, and services sectors.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies across digital and data-driven initiatives, including partnerships, collaborations, and alliances.
  • Drive sales and marketing campaigns for industry-related events and conferences, ensuring alignment with company goals and strategies.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to continuously refine business development strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing and client services to ensure alignment with overall company goals.
  • Lead RFPs, negotiations, and contracts related to digital and event-based projects.
  • Build and maintain a network of industry professionals, partners, and clients.
  • Create and deliver presentations, proposals, and reports to senior management and potential clients.
  • Track and report on business development performance, KPIs, and revenue growth.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development with a focus on data, digital transformation, events, and/or services.
  • Strong understanding of data, digital marketing, and event management in the context of IT and Non IT companies like Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, IBM, SAP, Axiom Mobile, Havells and other unicorn brands in India
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing key client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving industry with a passion for innovation and strategic thinking.
  • Strong project management skills and experience in handling multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Business development and managing cross-border relationships.
  • Knowledge of the latest digital and technological trends impacting the industry.
  • Ability to collaborate and work in cross-functional teams.
  • Should be able to drive a minimum of 20cr in revenue and a profitability of 3.5cr.
