Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Manager to oversee and manage our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate bookkeeping, managing Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, calculating costs for various projects, and ensuring timely GST filings.

The role demands a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable/receivable.

Ensure all transactions are recorded and documented according to company policies.

Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
  • P&L Management:

Prepare and analyze Profit & Loss statements to monitor the company's financial performance.

Identify trends and variances in financial performance and provide actionable insights.

Collaborate with management to develop budgets and financial forecasts.

Report on financial performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Project Wise Cost Calculation:

Track and manage project expenses, ensuring accuracy and alignment with budgets.

Prepare detailed cost reports for ongoing and completed projects.

Work with project managers to analyze cost variances and implement cost-saving measures.

Maintain detailed records of project expenditures and reconcile with project budgets.
  • GST Filing:

Prepare and file GST returns accurately and on time.

Ensure compliance with GST regulations and address any discrepancies or issues.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GST laws and changes.

Liaise with tax authorities and handle GST audits if required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus).

Proven experience in bookkeeping, financial management, and project cost calculation.

Strong understanding of GST laws and filing procedures.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
