UX Designer

Overview:
The User Experience Designer will play a role in creating a unified vision for the iCIMS software suite. He or she will help visualize, communicate, and help to establish/implement designs for iCIMS software.

Responsibilities:
- Help establish, visualize, communicate, and implement designs for iCIMS software
- Contribute to world-class customer experiences and visuals that support and reinforce iCIMS vision, brand and business
- Provide input to high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Maintain design standards for all iCIMS Software suite
- Design for all devices including desktop, tablet and mobile
- Distill complex interactions into clear, understandable design solutions
- Communicate with various departments in order to gauge customer needs
- Have a strong understanding of UI Patterns and best practices interaction design
- Consistently ensures that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with iCIMS policies, procedures, and core competencies
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and takes initiative
- Maintain flexibility and reacts to change appropriately
- Receive and take action on feedback and lessons learned for continual professional improvement and development
- Take measures to enhance body of knowledge and skill set through training
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Graphic Design or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5+ years related experience in visual design
- Strong use of Figma, the Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch and various prototyping tools
- Fluency in best practices for mobile and web-based design, as well as strong knowledge of information architecture
- Strong, clean visual design sense
- Exceptional typography skills
- Self-motivated
- Detail-oriented
- Able to meet various, strict deadlines
- Proven knowledge of User Experience best practices and processes
- Expert HTML skills
- Knowledge of JavaScript for rapid prototyping purposes
- Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working in medium to large team environment is helpful
- Ability to work with Front-end UI Developers to ensure design standards are met
