Support Engineer - III, Cross Border BLR Support Team

Key job responsibilities
We are looking for Support Engineer who will own deployments, automation, scaling, and solving operations with software services. This will include identifying and resolving issues, automating and improving repetitive processes, and working closely with the development team to identify operational needs.You will become intimately familiar with the architecture of our systems while developing solutions for our customers and services. A day in the life
Support Engineer owns the operation excellence goals for Global store services. The engineer will own OE goals of one service/module and can be Subject Matter Expert on any specific module within the team. Some of the key functions will be (not exhaustive) : Resolve Availability/Shepherd/SAS risks, Peak readiness Activities, Infra/Pipeline Maintenance, ExecuteTicket Reduction Plan, Rootcause/Troubleshoot the strightforward issues , Creating or streamlining SOP to simplify an ambiguous solution, Own COE to improve the systems, make pre-approved config changes (Arc launch).
Engineer will be expected build/contribute to automations to improve the operational efficiency. The scope of influence will be engineers (SDE) within the service team.

- Experience scripting in modern program languages
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems- Knowledge of web services, distributed systems, and web application development
- Experience troubleshooting & maintaining hardware & software RAID
- Experience with REST web services, XML, JSON
