Role Description

We are seeking a motivated, experienced, and driven sales professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Value-Added Industrial Sales. This role is focused on selling value-added SKUs to clients through consultative selling.
The products include NowPurchase's own private label range: CarbonMax, GraphiMax, MagMax, along with other selected products that add value to our clients. The ideal candidate is a dynamic individual with excellent leadership skills, a strong sales background, and a technical understanding of industrial products.

You will contribute to the growth and profitability of the organization directly, given the importance of this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, and monitor sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Work closely with key clients in the region to ensure strong and sustainable growth in each account.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the customer base.
  • Monitor sales activities, analyze sales data, and generate reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities and challenges.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure smooth trials and prove the technical merit of the products to secure the right price.
What Your Day Job Involves
  • Client Acquisition & Management: Work on new client acquisitions and potential client development and onboarding.
  • Client Interaction: Connect with existing clients for new purchasing requisitions and manage payments and fund flows.
  • Product Development: Work on product or category development of the product basket at the existing customer end.
  • Collaboration: Work with the procurement department to ensure a better bottom line of business for repeat cycle orders.
  • Order Execution: Collaborate across departments to ensure smoother order execution.
Qualification & Experience
  • Engineering degree is a must.
  • Proven experience of 1 - 3 years in technical sales of any industrial product.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
