ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
The Analyst Business Finance is responsible for providing financial support to the business area, ensuring compliance with deadlines and accounting standards whilst pro-actively challenging the business and its financial performance.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Provide financial support to the relevant business team by:- Producing and controlling the period (monthly, Quarterly & Yearly) End results
- Performing necessary analysis of reporting closing results
- Doing the Financial controlling and support for small to medium projects
- Preparing reports for monthly reviews with P&L / cost owners
- Completing the monthly forecast (at required detailed level)
- Ensuring alignment between Statutory reporting and Management reporting results
- Confirming IFRS and accounting policies compliance
- Supporting the Audit activity
- Playing an active role in the Balance Sheet control activity
- Apply SITA standard methods and guidelines of costs allocation rules
- Verify the accuracy of costs allocation through monthly/quarterly/yearly reports
- Provide consistent and standard cost analysis across regions and business
- Control product coding in accounting (make sure as much costs as possible, correctly coded at source)
- Ensuring alignment with capitalization best practices
- Ensuring alignment with tax compliance activities
- Ensuring alignment with corporate practices and standards
Qualifications:
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS- University degree in Finance or Accounting is imperative
- Membership of a relevant Finance/Accounting accreditation body
- Good knowledge of International accounting standards
- Minimum 2 to 3 years work experience preferably within a large international company with a matrix business structure
- Experience in shared service centre is an advantage.
