Over 5% of premature children death occur due to air pollution in developing countries. Everyone has relied on governments or experts to solve the problem, but most solutions up until today have either been too expensive or too ineffective. Praan is an attempt at making the future cleaner, healthier, and safer for the generations to come.

Who

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Program Manager to oversee and drive the execution of manufacturing programs from inception to delivery across both MKII and HIVE production lines, as well as NPD and internal projects.
The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teamsincluding engineering, procurement, and quality assuranceto ensure efficient and streamlined production processes.

As the Manufacturing Program Manager, you will lead initiatives to optimize production workflows, ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and manage the lifecycle of key manufacturing projects. Your leadership will be instrumental in ensuring operational excellence and meeting both internal and external customer expectations.

Job Description
  • Program Management:
  • Lead and manage multiple manufacturing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with company goals and timelines.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining scope, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project milestones, performance metrics, and outcomes, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Identify potential bottlenecks and proactively resolve issues to avoid delays or cost overruns.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Act as the primary liaison between manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and quality teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components for production.
  • Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure product standards and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Process Optimization:
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process, focusing on cost reduction, efficiency, and quality improvements.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to optimize production workflows and eliminate waste.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for process enhancement.
  • Design and build SOPs for every part of the manufacturing process
  • Risk and Issue Management:
  • Identify and assess potential risks across the program lifecycle and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Lead problem-solving initiatives to address technical and operational challenges that may arise during manufacturing.
  • Ensure that safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance standards are consistently upheld throughout the manufacturing process
  • Budget and Resource Management:
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring that financial targets are met without compromising quality or safety.
  • Allocate and oversee resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient program execution.
  • Coordinate with human resources to identify staffing needs and support employee training initiatives.
  • Reporting and Communication:
  • Provide regular reports on program status, key performance indicators (KPIs), and project deliverables to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Maintain clear communication channels with all relevant teams and departments to ensure timely updates and coordinated efforts.
  • Prepare and present project updates, timelines, and outcomes in executive meetings and review sessions.
Skill Requirements
  • Proven past record of having worked with thin (sub 2mm) sheet metal manfuacturing - MS, SS, Aluminium
  • BS/MS in Mechanical, Production or relevant Engineering degree.
  • 4+ years of experience as a NPD QA/QC Manufacturing Engineer
  • Strong understanding of tolerances and finishes.
  • Comprehensive understanding of TIG, MIG, Arc, Laser welding processes
  • Past experience and understanding of manual and computer-automated manufacturing processes
  • Past experience drafting and following QA/QC Manufacturing processes
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • CAD/File review and edit experience
