JOB DESCRIPTION
Manager Technical Service is responsible for overseeing the technical support team, supporting customers with appropriate technical services & successfully closing all service issues in a timely/efficient manner, to the satisfaction of the customer.
Role and Responsibilities
Technical expertise in Installation, Start-up, User Training, Service, Repair, Maintenance and upgrade of environmental test chambers, HALT /HASS chambers, Ovens, Vibration Test Systems, Cyclic Corrosion Test Chambers, Calibration of Test Equipment and manage AMCs
Generate new business opportunities in all support/service verticals
Strong customer relationship with all PAN India clients
Strong negotiation skills with customers and vendors on pricing, delivery, support, etc.
Expertise in sourcing appropriate Vendors, developing them
Create and manage budgets for technical service projects
Periodical service planning for self and entire team members & monitoring the progress
Team management including guidance, support, development, training of/for engineers
Developing and maintaining technical support policies & procedures
Flexible & adaptable to stretched work, tight deadlines, field work and new technologies
Excellent Communication & interpersonal, problem-solving skills
Conducting periodical performance review and offering appropriate feedback to the team
Should travel across PAN India location is a must.
