You will be part of our BPMS DevSecOps team developing and supporting solutions built on SoftwareAG webMethods BPM (Business Process Management). You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products and services through effective planning, coordination, and execution of testing activities.
Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Automation: Design, implement, and maintain with automate the provisioning and configuration of WebMethods integration servers, databases, and related infrastructure components.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for WebMethods integration solutions. Implement best practices for version control, branching, and release management.
- Monitoring and Alerting: Set up monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of WebMethods integration platforms. Utilize tools like Atomic, Splunk or similar technologies to collect metrics, create dashboards, and trigger alerts based on predefined thresholds.
- Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations in the design and configuration of WebMethods integration environments. Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and remediate security risks.
- Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks in WebMethods integration solutions and collaborate with development teams to optimize code and configuration settings. Conduct load testing and capacity planning to ensure scalability under peak loads.
- Incident Response and Troubleshooting: Provide support for incident response and troubleshooting of issues related to WebMethods integration platforms. Participate in on-call rotations and follow established incident management processes to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines. Share knowledge and best practices with team members through presentations, workshops, and documentation reviews.
- Work Result: Ownership of the application and products, Incident Closures.
- Squad Management: Leading and managing Release & Operation squad of 5 people cross region & time zone.
Ready to embark on the journey Here's what we are looking for:
- At least 12+ years of experience in Webmethods development /application support
- Extensive experience in development, administration, and configuration (setup) in/of Software AG webMethods BPM Platform, Integration Server, MWS, Universal Messaging, Command Central.
- Experience with Pub-Sub model, Schedulers, Java service, Deployer APIs, Certificates, SFTP, Ports, Caching, BPMS Tasks Engine, Process Engine, (Open) CAF, JMS, JDBC, and MQ Adapters, SoftwareAG Microservices
- Experience with API and RESTful Web Service technologies, BPM workflow as API for target.
- Experience with Oracle database for SQL development and debugging.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Possesses a familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and have experience with object oriented programming language (Java) and concepts.
- Interpret Server logs. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize solutions.
- Experience in deploying/managing webMethods in a HA/clustered environment.
- Experience with webMethods Test Suit, Command Central, Azure Cloud, API Gateways, CloudStream Connector, SofwareAG Microservices.
- Experience with database replication and/or migration SharePlex, Oracle (Active) DataGuard.
- Knowledge in container platform such as Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift
- Must be able to work on interface level mapping, debugging, and able to perform day to day production support.
- Provide problem analysis and troubleshooting of webMethods issues and related system components, including certificate installation, log analysis and error resolution, thread dump analysis, providing statistics.
- Experience in planning and aligning to meet cutover activities. Can contribute both as an individual contributor as well as team player.
- Extensive knowledge in handling ready to use connectors or adapters as suited for different use cases involving systems such as SAP Adapters, JDBC, JMS Adapters etc
- Strong in implementing integration solutions using integration methods and technologies covering Web Services, SOAP, JSON, REST APIs and XML.
- Ability to efficiently multi-task and be self-motivated while working with others. Should have effective problem-solving and analytical skills displaying attention to detail.
