Your role and responsibilities

IS Platform Solutions department is a host for four strategic platforms in ABB: ServiceNow, WalkMe, PowerPlatform and Qualtrics, which continuously grow their footprint in ABB. Due to this growth the department requires a highly skilled Program Manager who can lead delivery of an entire portfolio of implementations of various capabilities and modules of these platforms across ABB in a timely and cost effective manger.

The work model for the role is hybrid # LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Core IS Platform Solutions.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Defining with key stakeholders, the scope of work, cost/budget, resources required, time schedule, and detailed work allocation for the projects within the program.
  • Proactively collaborates with key Business and IS Stakeholders to build a continuous improvement environment and to support an ongoing program of change to improve consumer-oriented services, processes and products as prioritized based on business needs.
  • Responsible for the daily management of deliverables/output product of the program, which consists of one or more projects, on time, in scope, and within agreed quality and cost/budget.
  • Serving the program stakeholders, and as escalation point for project issues.
  • Ensuring projects within the program follow sound methodology and execution practices in accordance with standard ABB internal directives and procedures.
  • Coordinating with the resources allocated to the program and the projects within the program, de-fining main guidelines, allocating project tasks, and motivating and monitoring internal and/or external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones.
Qualifications for the role
  • Master's Degree in Information Technology, Business Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent
  • 10+ years’ experience (5+ years in IT project/portfolio management/program management experience; 3+ year of experience in leading global strategic initiatives in development and implementation of digital solutions consisting of several projects or workstreams).
  • Experience working with multiple independent stakeholders and aligning their efforts.
  • Proven experience in defining and tracking successful Program KPIs.
  • Proven experience managing external suppliers or partners.
  • Strong leadership skills in a matrix organization.
