Forklift Operator jobs at chennai and kanchipuram Job description /: 3 TON TO 15 TON OPERATOR EXPERIENCE /-1 TO 10 LOCATION /: CHENNAI Key Responsibilities/: Unloading/: Safely operate the forklift to unload materials from trucks, railcars, and other vehicles as required.
Shifting and Material Handling/: Transport and shift materials around the worksite, ensuring they are placed in designated areas for further use. Inventory Management/: Assist in organizing and maintaining an accurate record of stock levels by ensuring all materials are properly accounted for.
Maintenance/: Perform routine checks on the forklift equipment to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any faults or required repairs promptly. Safety Compliance/: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the forklift, including the correct use of PPE /(Personal Protective Equipment/).
Teamwork/: Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics team to ensure smooth operation and material flow. Requirements/: Valid FLT /(Forklift Truck/) License. Proven experience as a forklift operator, preferably within a railway or construction environment.
Familiarity with loading/unloading heavy materials and equipment. Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. Working Hours/: Monday to Saturday, 8/:30 AM 5/:30 PM Overtime may be required based on project demands.
