Senior Process Safety Consultant Engineer

Due to our on-going success securing large-scale projects we have a requirement for Senior Process Safety Consultant Engineer to join our Process Department Bangalore.- Your day-to-day role would involve the following activities
- Process Hazard Analysis: HAZID, Hazard and Operability (HAZOP), LOPA/SIL reviews
- Hazardous Area Classification (HAC)
- Seveso III/Safety Report Preparation
- Toxic Dispersion/Fire/Explosion Modelling. DNV-Phast software knowledge is an advantage
- Process Safety Calculations e.g. Relief Valve Sizing
- Dealing directly with client representatives, equipment vendors and multidiscipline engineering colleagues remotely to obtain the required information and to resolve process safety issues
- We would like to hear from candidates who have:
- A degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
- Chartered or working towards Chartered Status
- Excellent awareness of process safety engineering and process safety management
- Experience in ATEX/DSEAR
- Excellent knowledge of EU health & safety legislation
- Good interpersonal, communication & leadership skills essential.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience, with over 20 years preferred, in Pharmaceutical / Biopharmaceutical process design, preferably with an EPC firm working on PFDs, P&IDs, Equipment sizing and PRD calculations.
- Design experience with clients from Europe and the USA is an advantage.
