What you would do in this role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Visualization & Interactions Science Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data visualization, human-computer interaction, and user experience design, with a passion for leveraging data-driven insights to create impactful visualizations and interactive experiences for business.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with CG&S clients and stakeholders to understand business requirements and user needs and translate them into effective user journey with impactful visualization and interaction design solutions.
- Provide consultation and guidance to internal stakeholders on visualization and interaction design principles, tools, and techniques.
- Run codesign sessions and develop interactive data visualizations and dashboards using industry-leading tools and technologies, such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, PowerApps, Power Automate, React JS, D3.js etc
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and user feedback analysis to iteratively improve the usability and effectiveness of visualization products.
- Apply principles of data storytelling and narrative visualization to create compelling and informative data-driven stories.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in data visualization, human-computer interaction, and user experience design, and share insights and recommendations with the team.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to integrate visualizations into data-driven applications and products.
- Contribute to thought leadership and knowledge sharing initiatives within the organization, such as blog posts, whitepapers, and presentations.
