Azure Administrators are responsible for managing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and applications on the Microsoft Azure platform. They play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation, security, and performance of Azure environments within organizations.They will also be required to provide recommendations for Cloud cost optimization and implement them.
Key Responsibilities:- Resource Management:
o Ensuring resource optimization and cost-effectiveness.
o Monitoring resource health and performance.
- Networking:
o Configuring network connectivity and security rules.
o Troubleshooting network-related issues.
- Storage:
o Implementing data backup and recovery strategies.
o Optimizing storage performance and cost.

- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and Azure platform.
- Proficiency in Azure CLI, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
- Knowledge of networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience in creating chargeback reports.
- Experience in implementing cost optimization on azure environments.
- Experience with operating systems like Windows and Linux.
- Working experience in ServiceNow, Github, JIRA and Confluence.
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies.
