Job Description

Reporting to the Founder/CEO, you will be responsible for :

• Developing and implementing a scalable manufacturing strategy aligned with business goals and growth projections.
• Overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, production, inventory management, and last-mile delivery.
• Setting up and optimizing manufacturing units to ensure consistent product quality and adherence to regulatory compliance.
• Establishing robust vendor and supplier relationships to maintain a steady flow of raw materials at competitive costs.
• Managing warehouse operations to ensure timely order fulfillment and inventory accuracy.
• Driving cost efficiency through the implementation of LEAN methodologies and supply chain innovations.
• Leveraging data analytics to forecast demand, manage production planning, and minimize supply chain disruptions.
• Leading initiatives to reduce lead times and improve the sustainability of operations.
• Building and managing a high-performing manufacturing and supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Setting and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Head of Manufacturing and Supply Chain' should have:

• MBA in Supply Chain Management, Operations from a top-tier institution.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing and supply chain management, preferably in the FMCG or D2C sector.
• Proven track record in setting up and scaling manufacturing units and supply chain networks.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, quality standards, and operational best practices in FMCG.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
