The LCCI (Lilly Capability Centre India), BI&A (Business Insights & Analytics) team was started in 2017 with the objective of supporting business decisions for the commercial and marketing functions in the US and ex-US affiliates. This team is part of the LCCI - Commercial Services organization and works very closely with business analytics team based in Indianapolis (HQ).The team currently comprises of 300 team members, with varied backgrounds and skills across data visualization, data engineering, analytics, data sciences and market research. The team works across customer segments which include HCPs, Payer and HCOs, Consumer and Med Affairs.
This role is for a Manager for the Platforms & Capabilities group, specifically focusing on personalization analytics using 1st party data. The personalization analytics team analyses data to help measure, inform and advise on personalized journeys and experiences we are trying to enable for our customers (across HCP, consumer and medical affairs).We are currently looking for someone to lead a talented team of analysts working in this team
Key Responsibilities:
People and Project Leadership- Overall accountability of work delivered by the team ensuring highest standards of quality and timeliness in an evolving business environment
- Mentor a team of individual contributors to help define and achieve ambitious goals, play an active role in their career development and their annual performance evaluations
- Facilitates shared learning forums to identify challenges and establish best practices across the team
- Demonstrates ability to appropriately escalate when issues arise
- Plays crucial role in ensuring projects and tasks are appropriately prioritized and work for the team is effectively planned
- Serve as trusted advisor by actively participating in various phases of the project including kick-off, methodology development, execution, insight generation and data visualizations
- Provide technical leadership to team to assist with solution design and help remove barriers the teams may be facing
- Build and exhibit deep dataset expertise and continuously build expertise to evaluate and integrate new data sources
Required Skills and Expertise:
- 8+ years of analytics experience with demonstrated ability to think strategically in an ambiguous environment in analytics
- 2+ years of experience in handling teams
- Highly analytical with demonstrated experience of using data and analytics to drive business outcomes
- Strong technical skills including working knowledge of SQL and strong experience in data visualization (Power BI preferred)
- Experience with working with Customer Data Platforms (Tealium or Adobe) highly preferred
- Demonstrated experiences supervising small teams
- Ability to work with teams across geographies and in a matrix environment
- Bacheloru2019s/ Masteru2019s degree in a technical field such as engineering, computer science, computer applications etc. preferred but not mandatory
