Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant, Analyst Programmer, Aftermarket Parts

The Analyst Programmer position is responsible for leading the effort to understand business needs and identify how best to meet those needs. This role encompasses systems and data related activities as well as business. These responsibilities include providing support for project work, ongoing day-to-day operational needs (maintenance, fixes, enhancements, releases and small change requests.), performing data analysis. The team you are part of will operate under a SAFE AGILE environment.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with key business resources on requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, user acceptance, implementation, and documentation.
  • Understand and translate business concepts to executable functional designs ensure functional designs are executed as a viable solution to the business concept ensuring module solution aligns and is compatible with overall architecture.
  • Ability to be stand-alone AGILE development partner undertaking not just analysis but key developments and testing functions
  • Plan production software deployment activities and provide input into the change management process.
  • Assist with estimations of new developments and enhancement requests (costs, benefits, resources).
  • Monitor performance and provide responsive action to issues maintaining high-level internal customer satisfaction to required service level performance measures, through the successful resolution of customer requests/issues/change requests.
  • Ensure individual and team compliance with all policies and procedures including Sarbanes Oxley, IT and Security. Follow and adhere to established governance processes and standards.
  • Plan, prepare and execute system, product, acceptance and operational readiness testing. Create test approaches, conditions, cycles, scripts, environments.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience in practical analysis and development of code
  • Demonstrable experience of full testing of quality management software is required.
  • Detailed knowledge of the following is mandatory:
o iSeries AS400 ILE, ERP, CRM, WMS, EDI methods
  • Strong written and spoken communication / interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with multiple levels of IT and business management.
  • Successfully influences diverse groups and teams in a complex, ambiguous and rapidly changing environment to deliver value-added solutions.
  • Effective working relationship with the business to ensure business requirements are accurately captured, agreed and accepted.
  • Adaptable to new technologies/practices and acts as change agent within teams
  • Demonstrable ability to work under tight deadlines with multi tasks
  • Demonstrable ability to manage time and workload within the timeline of the business requirements and team members
  • Business expertise in Logistics or Supply Chain experience is key.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
  • Detailed knowledge of the following is preferrable:
o Manhattan WMoS.Net, Java, Oracle/Linux, Jasper, BIZTALK
  • IT change management process
  • Problem management procedures
  • Multiple business processes from an IT perspective.
  • All systems being and their impact on the business both regionally and globally
  • Day-to-day operational environment locally, regionally and globally
  • The roles and responsibilities of the key IT staff members regionally and globally
  • Business expertise in Agricultural experience is a plus.
