This position reports to

Head, India Operations Center - PA

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite. This role is going to be a 6 month Fix Term Contract.

This role is contributing to Process Automation business for BA Function Operation Centers and Quality division based in Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Works in close collaboration with the PPM team to understand sales strategy and deliver proposal in accordance with Global / Local standards
  • Ensure the offers are competitive and meet all customer requirements.
  • Conducts regular reviews to ensure that the teams are delivering work according to the customer and ABB requirements.
  • Build proposal capability through training, mentoring and shadowing programs to develop experts
  • Develops, implements and improves relevant processes, tools, policies and procedures to improve efficiency across the bid lifecycle and Standardize & optimize of technical solutions.

Qualifications for the role
  • Extensive experience (20+ years) in Sales, Business Development, Bid Management & Proposals across Energy Industries (Upstream Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Refineries, Power & Water)
  • Good understanding of Sales management process & implementation and deep understanding of segments, customer requirements across geographies
  • Proven track record of managing successful inter- and intracompany cooperation and Strong leadership skills.
  • Proven track record of solid customer relationship and Proven track record of converting opportunities into orders consistently
  • Experience in working in international environments with different cultures and languages and managing stakeholders of varying management levels.
