Senior Project Manager

Job Description

The work cycle spans will vary widely for these different types of projects. This position will support the UAE/India/APAC regions; therefore, the working hours will be India business hours.

As a Project Manager, you will:

• Organize assignments into project schedules and ensure actions are carried out in support of the project schedule
• Demonstrate command of projects and act as advisor to meet schedules or when technical issues need to be resolved
• Ensure performance objectives and requirements are met
• Anticipate and prevent risks from becoming issues, which may incur costs or impact project goals and/or schedule
• Interact with teammates, customers, or peers from other areas on matters pertaining to the functional area
• Lead cooperation between teams including but not limited to Cybalt Device Management, Cybalt m-XDR, Cybalt Service Desk, Cybalt Service Transition, Cybalt Sales, Cybalt PreSales, Black Box Sales, Black Box PreSales, Black Box Legal, Black Box Marketing, Client Project teams, and/or Client defined orgs
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities for improving efficiency and quality
• Report project status against schedule, accurately and timely
• Work on issues of diverse scope
• Follow procedures when methods for solutions need to be escalated
• Recommend process changes that affect immediate area
• Drive and assist with the creation of Portfolio collateral, in collaboration with Marketing

Requirements:

• At least 7 10 years working experience
• Minimum 3 5 years project management experience; preferably in a multi-nationally technology services environment
• Proven client engagement experience
• Knowledge and understanding of IT, specifically Security, industry environment and business needs
• Knowledge of Security Advisory and Managed services
• Experience creating collateral (Sales presentations, Service Descriptions, Battle cards, etc)
• Experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints

• Demonstrable team leadership, motivation to drive tasks and people, and business acumen
• Superior understanding of, confidence in being responsible for, and ability to manage all aspects of the full project lifecycle
• Superior ability to manage client expectations and satisfaction

• Advanced verbal and written communication, negotiation, escalation, and influencing skills

• PMP or Prince2 certified; if not PMP certified, then 5 7 years project management experience is required
• A strong take charge attitude to drive projects rather than just managing them
• Ability to effectively engage with a variety of stakeholders and colleagues at all levels
• Ability to work well in high-pressure situations
• Ability to manage urgent and complex tasks with competing deadlines, simultaneously
• Ability to establish and manage processes through collaboration and the understanding of the business.
