Position Overview:

We seek a dynamic and results-oriented Bulk Hiring SpecialistBlue Collar Hiring to join our team. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with placement officers in colleges, NGOs, Village Development Officers (VDOs), and Block Development Officers (BDOs) across the country to ensure an effective pipeline of blue-collar talent.

This position is based in our Chennai corporate office and will focus on the southern and northern regions of India, with one role dedicated to each region.

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Establish and maintain partnerships with placement officers in colleges across the country.
  • Build and nurture relationships with NGOs, VDOs, and BDOs to enhance outreach and talent acquisition in rural and semi-urban areas.

Blue-Collar Talent Acquisition:

  • Identify, assess, and recruit blue-collar talent aligned with business requirements.
  • Develop innovative strategies to improve talent pipelines from targeted regions and communities.

Regional Management:

  • For South Zone: Manage hiring activities in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
  • For North Zone: Oversee hiring initiatives across northern states, including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, and others.

Database & Reporting:

  • Maintain a comprehensive database of potential candidates, contacts, and recruitment sources.
  • Regularly report progress and hiring metrics to the leadership team.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the HR and operations team to understand manpower requirements and ensure timely hiring.
  • Participate in job fairs, campus recruitment drives, and community hiring programs.

Compliance:

  • Ensure hiring practices comply with organizational policies and labour laws.
  • Support documentation and onboarding processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Masters degree in HR/Management preferred).
  • Minimum 38 years of experience in blue-collar hiring, rural recruitment, or similar roles.
  • Proficiency in Hindi and Tamil (additional regional languages are an advantage).
  • Strong networking skills with proven experience in collaborating with NGOs, VDOs, and colleges.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively as per job requirements.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools and recruitment software.
