Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced UPS Service Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems. This role requires a strong technical
background, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced
environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation: Install and commission new UPS systems, including single-phase and
three-phase units, in various settings such as data centers, industrial plants, and
commercial facilities.- Maintenance and Servicing: Conduct regular preventive maintenance on UPS
systems, including battery checks, load testing, and firmware updates, to ensure
optimal performance and reliability.- Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair issues with UPS systems,
- Battery Management: Perform battery inspections, replacements, and maintenance
- Customer Interaction: Provide technical support and communicate with customers
to explain the nature of the service, offer advice on system usage, and ensure
customer satisfaction.- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of service visits, including work
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety
- Emergency Support: Provide on-call support for emergency situations, responding
promptly to critical system failures or outages.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics,
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the installation, maintenance,
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical and electronic systems, including the
ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Experience with
various brands and models of UPS systems.- Certifications: Relevant certifications in electrical safety, UPS systems, or power
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces,
and handle tools and equipment safely.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with advanced UPS systems, including modular and scalable UPS
- Knowledge of power management and distribution systems, including load balancing
- Familiarity with remote monitoring tools and software used in UPS management.
Work Environment:
- Field-based role with travel to various customer locations.
- May require working in high-stress environments, particularly during power outages
- Availability for on-call support during non-standard hours, including weekends and
holidays.

Pay: 15,000.00 - 35,000.00 per month
