Job Description

Location: Aliens Space Station, Gachibowli-Tellapur, HyderabadMode: Work from Office
Work timings: 10-7PM (Mon- Sat)

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing and procuring construction materials, equipment, and services required for various projects.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, obtain price quotations, and negotiate terms and conditions to achieve cost savings.
- Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of materials and equipment at construction sites.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to understand project requirements and deadlines.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock levels to ensure sufficient supplies for ongoing projects.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and evaluate their performance based on quality, delivery, and cost.
- Prepare and analyse procurement reports, including cost comparisons, supplier performance metrics, and budget tracking.
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on construction sites.
Specifically, the candidate should have:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive cost savings through effective supplier negotiations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills, with a proactive attitude towards professional growth.
- Prior internship or practical experience in procurement, construction, or supply chain management is a plus but not required
