TITLE: Logistics, Warehouse & Order Management Executive / ManagerREPORTS TO: Sales Manager
Scope Of Position
Our company is a distributor of Electronic Components having our own warehousing as well as using 3PL Warehousing functions. The opening is for a competent individual who has experience of handling the major aspects of a Logistics & SCM functions of a Small to Midsize distribution company.The candidate should be able to manage the Cross Functional roles of Warehouse Management, Transport Management, Order Management and Inventory Management.
The Candidates should be able to provide leadership to our warehouse team and work on optimising the logistics costs of the organisation.
Objectives- Planning and managing Logistics, Warehousing & Transportation.
- Single point of contact between the Service Provider / Customer / Supplier and the Organisation and providing the entire Inbound and Outbound Logistics Cover.
- SCM activities of Order Management and Inventory management.
- Stores and Warehouse Operations
- Receiving Incoming Materials, Quality checking, storing and Raising GRNs
- Dispatch planning in coordination with Sales Team, Outbound Quality & Accounts teams
- Raising DCs / Invoices and eway Bills.
- Generation of Daily MIS Raw, FG stock, Daily Dispatches etc.
- Materials Auditing. Daily/Weekly /Monthly Stock Taking.
- Updating all information on the ERP
- Developing and implementing SOPs for warehouse & Logistics.
- Maintaining Warehouse Sanity.
- Maintain batch wise picking & shipment to ensure FIFO basis movement of material.
- Supervision of Loading and Un-Loading.
- Transportation Management
- Finalising Agreement with Transporters for vehicles.
- Negotiate and maintain contracted prices with Transporters.
- Understanding customer Complaints, Claims, Handling customer service function for all transport
- Working with Transporters for Timely and efficient delivery of goods for inbound and outbound functions.
- Handling Transhipment and Drop Shipments.
- Handling Import Shipment with help from FF and CHA.
- Customer Service & Order Management
- Order Placement on Suppliers
- Coordinate with Suppliers Logistics team for Inbound goods shipment and receipts
- Coordinate with Customers Logistics for timely and efficient dispatch of goods to customers.
- Coordinating with Accounts Team for Timely payment to Suppliers
- Monitor Stock levels and work with Sales and Marketing team for new order placement on suppliers for goods.
- Manage timely payments to transporters with help of Accounts team.
- Manage timely Payments to suppliers with help of Accounts team.
- Onboarding new customers and partners to the systems
- Reconciliation of vendor/supplier accounts.
- Creating proper documentation for Transshipment and Drop Shipments.
- Experience in handling Import and export shipments and documentations.
- Have 5-10 years of experience in Logistics and SCM Functions.
- Should have independently handled the Logistics and Transportation function of a Small to Mid-Size Manufacturing or Trading Company with minimum exposure to 20-30 partners & Customers.
- Moderate to Advance level knowledge in Excel is desirable.
- Should have experience in managing 3PL (as Customer).
- Fixed Salary Based on Skills & Experience, mostly above average rates.
