As a Logistics Supervisor, you will oversee the daily logistics operations, ensuring efficient transportation and inventory management.You will work closely with various stakeholders to optimize logistics processes and maintain accurate records.
Responsibilities- Supervise daily logistics operations including transportation, inventory management, and warehousing.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Manage and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and shipment status.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior logistics staff.
- Prepare reports on logistics performance metrics and suggest improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with logistics software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, TMS, WMS).
- Basic understanding of supply chain principles and practices.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of local transportation regulations and compliance.
