Validation Engineer
ValGenesis is excited to invite applications for the position of Validation Engineer. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring the compliance and quality of our innovative software solutions tailored for the life sciences sector. As a Validation Engineer, you will collaborate with diverse teams to develop comprehensive validation strategies, create and execute test cases, and maintain the project quality standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead validation efforts for software applications to ensure they meet business and customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system functionalities and requirements.
- Develop and review validation documentation including validation plans, protocols, and reports.
- Create and execute test cases, and document results while adhering to quality management system (QMS) guidelines.
- Identify, document, and track issues to resolution for the software validation lifecycle.
- Conduct risk assessments related to software validation and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in peer reviews of validation documentation and test strategies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize validation processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software validation, Computer System Validation and Product Software Validation testing experience in a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of validation frameworks, GAMP 5, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in developing test cases and analysis of test results.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective team player with the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies.
- Experience with industry-standard testing tools is a plus.
