JOB DESCRIPTION

Location : Bengaluru

Designation :Senior Manager - Infrastructure & DevOps

Key Responsibilities:

1. Azure VM Management

• Manage, configure, and monitor Azure Virtual Machines, ensuring high availability, performance, and cost-effectiveness
• Oversee backup and disaster recovery for Azure environments, utilizing tools like Altaro Backup
• Maintain security best practices for Azure VMs, including patching, access control, and antivirus updates

1. DevOps

• DevOps Pipelines (CI/CD Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, Octopus, etc.)
• Infrastructure as Code Good understanding of Bicep, Terraform, Ansible etc.

1. Windows Server & Network Management

• Manage a hybrid environment with 57 Windows servers (2012R2 to 2019), ensuring they are patched, secure, and functioning efficiently.
• Oversee hybrid Active Directory synchronization between on-premises and Azure AD.
• Implement and manage network security measures, including SonicWall firewalls, VPN, and QNAP NAS.

1. User Onboarding/Offboarding

• Perform onboarding tasks, including creating Office 365 mailboxes, synchronizing accounts with Azure AD, and configuring licenses.
• Manage user offboarding to ensure secure deactivation of accounts and removal of access to all systems.

1. IT Security & Compliance

• Establish and maintain security protocols, focusing on access control, data protection, and proactive updates.
• Implement security controls, such as intrusion detection, firewall updates, and regular access reviews.
• Oversee data backup solutions and ensure compliance with data retention policies to support business continuity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in managing Azure VMs, on-premises systems, and hybrid infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, VMware, and hybrid Active Directory.
• Experience in vendor management, including coordinating third-party services and developing IT roadmaps with vendors.
• Familiarity with network security, including SonicWall firewalls and VPN configuration.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to support remote users.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Altaro Backup or similar backup solutions.
• Familiarity with QNAP NAS and Dell storage solutions.
• Certifications in Azure, VMware, or relevant Microsoft technologies are a plus.
