Cloud Architect (Freelance Interviewer)

Job Description

Experience: 15 - 20 years

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud architectures for large-scale enterprises
• Evaluate cloud service providers (CSPs) and select the best fit for each solution
• Develop migration strategies for applications, data, and infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, such as GDPR and HIPAA
• Optimize cloud costs and manage budgets effectively
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs
• Create and present cloud architecture designs to clients
• Develop and maintain cloud governance frameworks, policies, and procedures

Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in IT with a Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• Strong client-facing cloud consulting experience
• Strong understanding of one of the public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Strong leadership skills and communication skills
• Azure and/or AWS Architect or equivalent certification is a plus!
• Experience with cloud security, compliance, and governance
• Experience with cloud migration and deployment
• Experience with DevOps and agile principles

Nice to Have:

• Experience with multi-cloud environments
• Experience with containerization (e.g. Docker)
• Experience with serverless computing (e.g. AWS Lambda)
• Experience with cloud cost optimization tools (e.g. ParkMyCloud)
