Job Overview

The Design Engineer - STP & CBG will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing treatment processes and systems for both Sewage Treatment Plants and Compressed Biogas projects. This role involves creating detailed engineering drawings, evaluating system performance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards to deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and specifications for STP and CBG projects.
  • Prepare P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and equipment layouts, ensuring adherence to project requirements.
  • Perform process calculations, hydraulic designs, and equipment sizing for treatment plants.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth integration of design elements into project execution.
  • Conduct site visits to gather data and provide design-related support during project execution and commissioning.
  • Stay updated with the latest technological advancements in wastewater and biogas treatment processes and integrate best practices into design solutions.
  • Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and design manuals.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals and ensure selected equipment meets project specifications and quality standards.
  • Work closely with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met within set timelines and budgets.
  • Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Diploma or ITI, Mechanical Engineering/ Drafting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing STP and/or CBG systems.
  • Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and process simulation tools.
  • Strong knowledge of sewage treatment technologies (e.g., MBR, MBBR) and biogas production processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and environmental regulations.
