Business Systems Analyst - CPQ
What You'll Do:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce CPQ Sr. Business Systems Analyst to oversee and drive our Quote to Cash initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Salesforce CPQ, Snowflake, and data analytics tools, and possess strong leadership and project management skills.This role involves taking leadership of initiatives with a team of analysts, managing end-to-end Quote to Cash Systems and Transformation projects, and ensuring that CPQ/Q2C solutions align with business objectives and deliver measurable results.
You will be based in our Pune office working in the rotational evening shifts i.e. 1pm – 10pm and 6pm – 3am. As an individual contributor, you will report to the Sr. Manager of Revenue Operations.
- What Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with senior management to define CPQ strategy and roadmap.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable projects and initiatives.
- Oversee the execution of CPQ projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with key stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements.
- Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through CPQ solutions.
Solution Design and Architecture:
- Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce CPQ solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with technical teams to validate solution feasibility and scalability.
- Ensure that solution designs adhere to industry best practices and Salesforce guidelines.
System Configuration and Customization:
- Oversee the configuration and customization of Salesforce CPQ settings including product bundles, pricing rules, discount schedules, and approval processes.
- Ensure consistency and quality in system configuration across projects.
Data Management and Governance:
- Ensure data integrity and quality within the Salesforce CPQ system.
- Oversee data migration and integration efforts, ensuring seamless data flow between systems.
- Ensure and document data access, transport, and storage compliance
Testing and Validation:
- Develop comprehensive test plans and lead the testing efforts to ensure CPQ solutions meet specified requirements.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and address feedback to refine solutions.
Training and Support:
- Develop and implement training programs for end-users to ensure successful adoption of Salesforce CPQ.
- Provide high-level support for complex CPQ-related issues and serve as an escalation point for the team.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Design and oversee the creation of custom reports and dashboards to monitor CPQ performance.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate insights to inform business decisions.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for CPQ-related initiatives, ensuring clear communication and alignment with stakeholders.
- Facilitate regular status meetings and present project outcomes to senior management.
What You'll Need to be Successful:
Personal Traits:
Consitently Curious and Innovative, with a strong sense of ownership of solution design and cross-domain/team innovation. A drive to collaborate and execute.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 4 years of experience specifically in Salesforce CPQ.
Technical Skills:
- Deep expertise in Salesforce CPQ configuration and customization.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud and integration tools.
- Proficiency in data migration, management, and integration best practices.
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce reporting and dashboard creation.
- Expert in handling tools like Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365 etc.
Certifications:
- Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist certification is required.
- Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder certification is preferred.
- Project management certifications such as PMP or Agile Scrum Master are a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent team player.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience in industries such as SaaS, technology, manufacturing, or telecommunications where CPQ solutions are commonly used.
- In-depth understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies and tools.
- Working Conditions:
- Ability to work in the rotational shifts i.e. 1pm – 10pm and 6pm – 3am. from the office.
- Eligible for odd evening shift allowances as applicable.
- Occasional travel may be required for project meetings and stakeholder engagement.
