In this role, you will:
- Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
- Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
- Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ .NET and .NET core experience who can lead and deliver high quality and cost effective solution.
- Develop automation scripts with Selenium/or similar tools using VBScript/C#/Java for .NET applications.
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering discipline
- Candidate can clearly demonstrate their implementation experience.
- Candidate can demonstrate that they have the capability to ramp up quickly without a lot of instruction, training, or hand-holding.
- Candidate can demonstrate that they possess a balance of technical skills with hands-on implementation experience
- Candidate can demonstrate that they have the soft skills to support a lack of detailed instruction or training.
- Iterative and Agile development methodology
- Good experience in ASP.Net, C#, ADO.Net, JavaScript, .NET Core, WebAPI and WCF
- Good experience in Data Analysis, SQL Server queries, tables, stored procedures and triggers
- Good experience in MVC Framework 3 and above
- Knowledge and experience with regular expression
- Knowledge and Experience in UI
- SSIS/SSRS Experience / Knowledge
- Nice to have experience in AngularJS, JQuery, bootstrap
- Experience using source control tools (TFS, SVN etc.)
- Experience in working in Cloud implementation
- Strong experience in UFT/QTP or Selenium using VBScript or C# or Java
- Familiarity with all the deliverables associated with Agile
- Experience in Banking domain - (1 - 2 yrs) (preferably Lending)
Job Expectations:
- Should be able to support Application independently, address regulatory requirements
- Should be able to work independently on projects and enhancements
- Should be able to participate and support designing the solution for business problem
- Individual contributor in Agile squad for SysDev function
- Create test code to validate the application against business requirement
- Monitor the performance of applications and infrastructure
- Troubleshooting applications with fast and accurate resolution
- Automate Functional, regression testing with UFT/QTP or Selenium using VBScript/C#/Java
- Ability to quickly understand the business process and map the application functions
- Excellent analytical & interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Should be effective communicator
