Job DescriptionJob Role : FOC (Fiber Optic Cable) Network Architect & Designer
Responsibilities:
Plan and design fiber optic networks for high-bandwidth, low-latency connectivity across production facilities.
Conduct site surveys to assess cable routes, feasibility, and environmental challenges.
Develop fiber architecture, including backbone, distribution, and access layers.
Create bills of material (BoM) and manage vendor selection for fiber optic components.
Coordinate with civil engineering teams for trenching and cable deployment in hazardous environments.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Telecommunications.
12+ years of experience in fiber optic planning and deployment.It is mandatory to have hands-on experience on FTTH and Fiber planning in industrial and urban environments.
It is desirable to have Expertise in OT (Operational Technology) networks in petrochemical environments but not mandatory
Familiarity with tools like ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and fiber splicing equipment.Experience in OFS OptiCost tool will be plus
Knowledge of standards like ITU-T G.652 and IEC 60793.
